Early Literacy Kits

literacy kitsHelp the children in your life develop their little minds from the comfort of your home with an Early Literacy Kit.

Librarians have selected educational materials such as books, puzzles and toys, and created some nifty themed kits.

The kits are perfect for interactivity with young ones from birth – age 5, and the kits are loaned for two weeks. Two kits may be checked out at a time.

Borrowing Info

  • Early Literacy Kits are shelved in Kids Crossing.
  • Early Literacy Kits may be checked out by library cardholders in good standing who are age 18 or older.
  • Pickup and return location must be the Franklin Park Public Library.
  • Up to two kits may be checked out at a time.
  • Kits may be placed on hold only by Franklin Park cardholders.
  • The kits are loaned for 2 weeks, and can be renewed.
