Young Adult Library Leaders – YALL

What is YALL?

The Franklin Park Library Young Adult Library Leaders (YALL) is a group of teen volunteers who are interested in making a difference at the library. YALL assists the Information & Digital Services Department in a variety of tasks, and their efforts have a direct impact on the collection, programming, and services for kids and teens.

Who can join YALL?

YALL welcomes teens grades 7-12.
(Court ordered hours are not applicable)

When can YALL members volunteer?

YALL members work with Library staff to create a schedule that works for everyone.

Why should you join YALL?

  • The library is not just a place to study. It can be a fun place to hang out.
  • Being a member earns you volunteer hours.
  • Your input is important to the library, and your service makes a difference.
  • You love books, movies, music, and food!

Once you turn in your application, the volunteer coordinator will contact you and set up a training day and schedule.
