Warmth and Comfort Drive 2024

The Library is accepting donations for the American Legion Post 974’s Stand Down 2025. Beginning in November, drop off new toiletries and unused winter clothing items at the Circulation Desk.

Toiletries accepted include new, unused, and unopened: shampoo, soap, lotion and moisturizer, facial tissue packets, antiseptic wipes and baby wipes, bath gels, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lip balm, and feminine products.

Winter items include jackets, hats, mittens, scarves, blankets, sweaters and other relevant items. Collection efforts are further augmented by the generosity of our Knit & Crochet and Quilt & Sew groups. Both work year-round to create quantities of handmade winter accessories and other items.
