Hiram Draper

Hiram Draper was born to William and Mary Ann Draper in 1851. William Draper was born in England in 1808, but came to this area in 1837 and purchased 500 acres of land. William Draper served as Town Supervisor, Town Clerk, Accessor and Justice of the Peace. Hiram Draper married Louise and the couple had four children while farming 400 acres of land. The family home, which is still standing at 2920 Maple, has been completely renovated, and a descendant of the Draper family currently owns the home.
