Library Tree Planting

Join us for a free Tree Planting workshop! No experience is necessary, and dress to get dirty! This is a great weekend volunteer opportunity since up to 30 trees will be planted on library grounds.

The Library would like to thank Andy Smolen and the Village of Franklin Park for helping to green up the Library’s landscape. This event is made possible through Chicago Trees Initiative in collaboration with the Village of Franklin Park and through a generous donation from The Morton Arboretum.

The planting is made possible through financial support from The Morton Arboretum in honor of their Centennial Year Celebration.
