Tax Day is Monday, April 15.

We have received federal IRS 1040 forms and instructions. We have not received any Illinois state tax forms. (last updated January 17th)

We can print out any tax forms under 10 pages for free at the Info Desk.

Free Community-based Tax-Aide

AARP (at the Library)

Starting January 20th, you may book an appointment for AARP Tax-Aide by calling or visiting the Info Desk. Booking is required as walk-ins are not permitted under any circumstances.

Appointments run from February 6th to April 3rd every Thursday.

In January, you will be able to find appointments on the AARP Tax Prep website. You can also call (888) OUR-AARP (888-687-2277).

Triton RSVP

Triton’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will begin appointments in February.

Call (708) 456-0300, ext. 3895, Monday thru Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM.

College of DuPage

The College of DuPage may be able to assist you with their free tax prep service.

Visit their website to schedule an appointment starting in February.

LadderUp TAP

LadderUp’s Tax Assistance Program (TAP) may be able to assist you with their walk-in service.

IRS VITA and TCE Programs

You may be able to find additional Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) or Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs.
