Library Receives Donations in Memory of Beloved Staff

The Library would like to thank the families and friends of Mary Ann Dohse and Pat Peterson for the generous donations made in their memories.

Mary Ann and Pat were former library employees who both sadly passed away in 2020.

Mary Ann could be found promoting the library’s services at the Info Desk and running her favorite adult craft programs.
Pat worked at the Kids Crossing Desk and also ran popular children’s programs such as the Fun-Ologies series.

The donation in Mary Ann’s name will go to fund future adult craft kits and programs, which she planned and happily led for many years.
The donation in Pat’s name will go towards the purchase of children’s books for the Kids Crossing collection. Pat had a fondness for children’s literature from her teaching career, and she enjoyed sharing her knowledge and making learning fun and entertaining for kids.
